Wow! Here we are, one month into the BT blog, and we have a fan base that is growing faster than Charlie Weis’ gut. We never thought we would be getting the overwhelming attention we have thus far…. Yeah right! We knew we would be a bigger hit than Big E in turn 4 at Daytona. The blog is on fire and the fan base is exploding.
Because we don’t want to name our own fan base like some yokels, we are opening it up to you, our loyal cohorts, to name yourselves.
To that end, The Bayside Tigers are opening up a friendly competition for the fans. E-mail us a name for the Bayside Tiger fan base by March 6th. From the submissions, we will narrow down to 10 finalists. A poll will be posted on the blog with the The Top 10 for all to vote on. Voting will end March 19th and a winner announced the 20th. If your submission wins, you will receive complimentary front row seats at all of our games, a dug out pass redeemable for one game*, an autographed softball from the team, and possibly some beer, assuming you're of legal age and you can pay for your own beer.
* Your personal safety cannot be guaranteed in the dugout. Occasionally the Tiger gets out of the cage.
